Jason Lim – Central Asia

A global citizen hailing from Singapore, Jason has been spending much of his life in the
Travel and Events Industry all over the world in the Middle East, China, Indonesia, Asia
Pacific. Subsequently, Jason’s cross cultural communications leads to succeed not only in daily interactions with clients or with team members but also in planning and conceptualization of travel and event experiences
too. Jason is a key opinion leader on MICE and Travel and is regularly sought by industry media as a recognized expert in the field.

Previous experiences in planning and executing mega MICE projects such as World Expo Shanghai 2010, United Nations Public Service Congress in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Singapore Airshow and being part of other mega events have served him well to better understand the need and objective of clients both for
MICE and Leisure Travel. Prior to founding Trails of Eurasia (Central Asia), Jason was the CEO for Leisure & Destination Management Services for one of the biggest travel companies in Indonesia.

Zaur Baghirov – Central Asia

An expert in service delivery and operations, Zaur began his career in the travel and hospitality industry with Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Since the cabin crew of prestigious 5 STAR airlines offer the best service training and their cabin crews learning to operate in varying conditions and situations where it is imperative to skillfully react to all kinds of emergency demands while both in the air and on the ground, Zaur has developed an astute understanding of operations and service management that when implemented in the arena of travel and events delivery.

Aiming to creating better outcomes and results provide a comprehensive positive interaction for clients, travelers, event participants, (and also) suppliers to ensure all parts of service and operational delivery are well planned, engaging and executed with success to achieve desired outcomes and objectives. With over 15 years in Airlines as well in the Middle East with a further few years in one of the largest travel corporations in Azerbaijan (and the Caucasus region), Zaur has been able to implement these service and operations strategies to enhance and improve the overall travel and MICE experience for all stake holders.

SOONIE W – THAILAND
A native of Thailand, Soonie has traveled extensively around Southeast Asia (and the world) for both business and leisure (bleisure). Her love of travel led her to become a well-rounded leader in the inbound tourism industry, where she developed strong and meaningful connections with local guides, primary suppliers, operators and other key players within Thailand.

With over 15 years’ experience in tourism, Soonie has developed an in-depth and a complex knowledge of hotels and travel products within her mother country. From well-established tourist destinations to off-the-beaten-track locales that few travelers know about, Soonie is known to friends as a local Thailand ‘Travel Guru’ whose passion is creating innovative travel products, particularly for the high-end market.

LUKASZ KOSLOWSKI – VIETNAM
Living in Vietnam since 2015 and in tourism since 2007, Lukasz fell in love with the local culture and cuisine. Having traveled through South East Asia and discovering its unique culture, in 2016 created makeyourasia.com with friends. Makeyourasia.com has since became one the top tour companies servicing the Polish market offering premium type tours.

Focused on delivering real adventures in Asia by making tailor made tours, Lukazs’ purpose is to show the best of local cuisine, share the local culture and offer an intimate introduction to South-East Asia whether if it is a motorbike tour in Saigon, or a private island trip in the Philippines or hiking the great hills of Sapa.

DANIEL DE GRUITER – CAMBODIA
Daniel fell in love with the people of Cambodia, having met his wife there, he now has dual residency in both The Netherlands and the Khmer Kingdom. Enjoying the captivating local life and its breathtaking scenery and culture, Daniel has truly established himself to local life.

Daniel likes to visit Bakong District on Sundays; this is where the Roluos Group of ancient temples are located. Beyond Siem Reap, is also Phnom Kraom (near Ton Le Sap Lake) – a hillside haven to take in the fresh air.

Daniel and his team are specialized in tailor made and out-of-the-box touring expeditions. Whether it be MICE, leisure, adventure, food related tours or discerning trips for LGBTQ travelers. Being a Swiss, having attention to detail, offering high quality customer care are Daniel’s greatest strengths and he remains actively involved in the development of the country, that he now calls home.

MIKA ITAVAARA – THAILAND & MYANMAR
A pioneer in experiential travel in Myanmar, Mika has over 20 years background in tourism – specialising in Asia. After leading Asian Trails/ Kuoni offices in Myanmar for several years; he decided to pursue his craft of ‘getting back to the field’ and doing what he loves: crafting experiences and travel to all corners of Myanmar.

Myanmar is full of wonders that only few people know about. Discovery DMC established in 2011 as an embodiment of this passion. Made up of local travel hosts connecting guests with locals in order to bring out the magic of each destinations (with a twist). Mika has organised tribal festivals and concerts to Russian oligarchs, documentary journeys for National Geographic photographer & film crews, kick boxing classes with world champions and also meetings with the former Royal Family of Myanmar.

Mika loves the challenge of organising remote expedition style trips to some of Myanmar’s far-most corners such as Nagaland, Chin State, Myanmar’s Himalaya as well as to deserted islands in the tropical south.

LAARHIRU JAYAMANNE – SRI LANKA
As most of his industry friends call him, LJ carries 23 years of hospitality experience. From a Management trainee just after school at Jetwing to a senior manager and a General Manager at Diethelm Travels Sri Lanka, Hemas PLC, LJ has handled flight operations, and welcomed guests from BENALUX countries, India, Middle East, China and Asia (as a whole). In addition to tourism operations, he is also involved in strategic business planning,
Sales and Marketing,administration, financial planning and acquisition evaluations.

Member of CIM, UK, LJ holds an MBA in Business, multiple university degrees and diplomas and was announced Winner of Best Business Plan during his JETGEM – Tourism Management Course (2002), and was also acclaimed the top CEO award at Hemas PLC in 2014. LJ enjoys, traveling with his wife & 3 sons, and enjoys food – especially his wife’s homemade cooking. An avid reader, LJ is also on a mission to discover the real essence of Buddhism and its scientific explanations on life, universe and their natural order.

PATRICK KELLY – VIETNAM
Patrick has been involved with golf since the age of ten in Australia, he received a golf scholarship to America in 2004 representing Jackson State and Long Island University in Division One College Golf. After touring successfully around the world, Patrick successfully organised golf holidays to Asia from Australia.

Previously the Golf Professional at one of Asia’s top courses ‘The Bluffs’ (and few others); Patrick keeps his based in Ho Chi Minh City hosting in small groups of locals, expats and inbound travellers to offer one-on-one tuition and coaching. For special events, intimate golf coaching and hosting, Patrick can be booked for special golf tours as LUXPERIA’s own dynamic Golf-Pro!

MICHELLE FORD – VIETNAM
A wellness advocate (and disruptor) who designs, develops and delivers progressive concepts which positively impact on the well-being of individuals, businesses and communities.

Previously, Michelle was the General Manager (GM) of Asia’s first spa-inclusive resort, Fusion Maia where Michelle was accoladed with prestigious awards from Asia Spa, Tatler and Conde Nast.

Evi-Elli La Valle – Cambodia

A Londoner settled in Siem Reap since 2015, Evi-Elli’s experience includes work for luxury brands Scott Dunn, Mr & Mrs Smith and Belmond. Evi-Elli launched Taste Siem Reap in 2018 to guide visitors to discover another side of Siem Reap through a curated selection of restaurants, galleries and bars.

Evi-Elli Teams with local English speaking driver/guides to escort guests through progressive culinary experiences in Siem Reap.

FERNANDO BARRAZA – AUSTRALIA
Offering end-to-end production services with impeccable attention to detail for corporate events, and product activations. Fernando has worked with some of the biggest names in music, entertainment, and fashion in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, New York and Los Angeles.

Fernando creates event themes and concepts to deliver flawless execution to produce extraordinary entertainment for event performances in luxury hotels and also prestigious car launches, gala events and fashion shows. Based in Sydney, Fernando can be booked as Creative Director for high profile MICE events and Galas at any of our destinations.

Adrian Zagrodzki – Vietnam

Right after getting his degree in Vietnamese Philology, Adi arrived in Hanoi and thanks to a surprising twist of fate, started hosting shows on Vietnamese national television shortly afterwards: For the Vietnamese, in Vietnamese, about Vietnam – the country’s specialty dishes and its most interesting destinations.

After five years he decided to share his passion for Vietnamese culture with the world and participated in the founding of Makeyourasia.com and now Vietnam host and media personality for LUXPERIA COLLECTIVE. No matter if it is a trekking through the remote ethnic villages in the mountains or an evening motorbike trip through the alleys of Saigon – you will see Vietnam as the Vietnamese see it.
